Well this is a turn up for the books. On my way out to lunch today, I saw this beautiful horse and a great thing to go with it too.
Turns out it was being used to ferry Anthony Horowitz around for the launch of his new novel, Moriarty. The bloke who owned the horse and carriage was very friendly, telling me that it was refurbished in the 70s when velour was popular (should have been leather apparently). I was curious to find out what sort of reception he got on the busy streets of London. Turns out everyone was pretty cool with it, apart from some cabbies.
Strange what you see sometimes, though isn’t it? W
